(Ontario).- The regulated iGaming market in the Canadian province of Ontario has recorded a steady increase in gaming revenue of 32% in its third year of operation. The figures released this week by the organization overseeing the market, iGaming Ontario.

Numbers showed that between April 2024 and March 2025, the sector generated CA$82.7 billion in gambling wagers, representing a 31% increase from the previous year.
iGaming Ontario’s open competitive market continued to mature in its third year, with robust year-over-year growth resulting in $82.7 billion in wagers and $3.2 billion in gross gaming revenue.
“These results show Ontario is home to a truly dynamic igaming market with a strong roster of operators, and a world-class list of games available for players,” said Heidi Reinhart, Chair of the Board of Directors. “With 49 operators offering 84 gaming sites, Ontario’s regulated market continues to grow by offering a safer environment for Ontarians to play.”
There are currently 49 gaming operators in the province, providing 84 online gambling sites. Ontario online casinos contributed the most significant proportion of revenue, at CA$2.4 billion, for Ontario’s first quarter of 2025, while Ontario sports betting generated revenue of CA$747 million for the year. Poker revenue remained unchanged from the previous year’s figure, however, at CA$66 million.
